RC Pasig West Plans and Programs 2014-2015
The Proposed Plans and Programs for 2014 as presented and discussed during the first Board Meeting of the Rotary Club of Pasig West held last April 29, 2014 at Kapitolyo, Pasig and continued during the second meeting held last May 5, 2014 at the Valle Verde Country Club.
PART 1
I. Objective: To Support & Strengthen the Club & expand partnership coverage
1. Membership Retention and Attraction (Recruitment):
The main priority of the club for the term 2014-2015 is to strengthen the club internally by significantly increasing the number of members as well as improving the retention rate through the following proposed plans and programs:

1. Enrichment Programs for Members
|
To provide the members a more significant purpose or reason to be present and regularly attend weekly meetings
|
· 10-12 Guest speakers or resource persons will give short talks during Club meetings which may include the following:
o Rotary Information
o Continuing education and training
o Inspirational talks
o Any topic that may be of interest to the club members
· A Planned annual Calendar of (Tentative) Speakers and Topics will be made before July 1, 2014
· Certificates of attendance will be given to the members who will be present during the short talks
· The resource speaker will be given a certificate, plaque or banner from the club and a token or honorarium.

Program will be headed by the Director of Club Administration.
Funding for the honorarium/token for the resource speaker will be provided by the club
|
2. Special Interest Groups
|
To determine and develop common interests among members as an avenue for team building.
It may also serve as a means of discovering and attracting potential members.
|
May involve Honorary members, family Members, Friends, Co-workers.
Special Interests may include:
Sports, Music, Hobbies such as Photography, Dancing etc…
Note:
· If interest groups will require regular meetings, they must not coincide and should not interfere with the clubs regular weekly meeting
· Formation of a specific interest group will require approval of the Board
· No funding will be provided by the club
· Special interest groups should provide updates and reports to the club

Those who are interested in forming the groups will be responsible for the administration of the group and funding for the program
|
3. Fellowship Activities
|
To foster camaraderie and team building among club members
|
May include but not limited to the following:
Spouse Night
Dinners
Movies
Plays and Theaters
Sports and Recreation
Interest Group Hosted activity

May be funded by the Club or sponsored by a group/s.
|
4. Friends of Rotary Club of Pasig West
|
To be able establish partnerships and affiliation with other organizations, businesses and institutions
|
Each member should be able to propose at least 1 potential partnership.
Potential partnerships should be presented to the members and will require approval of the board
|

5. Membership Fees and Recruitment
|
Increase new membership
To be able to provide the members a more organized, planned and convenient payment scheme for Rotary Fees |
Attract more potential members by inviting them initially as speakers or resource persons for enrichment activities.
Target of at least 5 new members for 2014 Fees: Deferred Schemes of Payments

PART TWO
II OBJECTIVE: TO PROMOTE NEW GENERATION & INTERNATIONAL SERVICE
2. The Rotary New Generation may further be promoted by the club through the following plans and programs:

Establish partnerships with organizations such as the Philippine Red Cross in developing and producing printable posters or illustrated cards on the basics of preparing their own families and how to respond to earthquake disasters.

5. The Rotary Foundation and Grants:
In line with the District’s thrust in increasing contributions to The Rotary Foundation, the following are the proposed programs for this year:

Make members aware of the different types of funds in the Rotary Foundation and each member’s role and responsibility to these funds.

Encourage or Require members to attend TRF Seminars hosted by the District or Zones
Provide information in the Club Website to attract potential contributors to the TRF through RCPW
