The Rotary Club of Pasig West will be conducting its formal Club Turnover and Induction Ceremonies on September 30, 2014, as it celebrates its 17th year of service.
In this connection, we would like to request your
generous support by way of advertising in our Souvenir Program as per enclosed
advertising sheet and contract, to be released during the induction ceremonies.
This souvenir program will also be made available in the Club’s website in
downloadable format in order to reach more readers. We are also in the process
of partnering-up with some local websites and blogs in order to make this souvenir
program more highly visible and downloadable, therefore further increasing its
advertisement value.
The club has been involved in unselfish service to
promote its adopted motto, the age-old Filipino tradition of “Bayanihan,” otherwise
known as the spirit of serving others, in order to empower and improve the
lives of individuals and families.
In particular, the club will again continue with its
commitment to share the professional background and expertise of its membership
by active participation in a number of community concerns that will be funded
partly by the advertisement proceeds. The said concerns will focus on Rotary’s
worldwide thrust of: peace keeping and peace building; the acquisition of
skills for individual productivity as well as for entrepreneurial initiatives;
the organization of co-ops to enhance sustainable grassroots development;
solution to scarcity of resources and hunger-related issues; character
building, values formation, leadership development and good citizenship; the
appreciation for health care and personal hygiene; and familiarity with
disaster preparedness, relief and assistance along with the protection,
preservation and cleanliness of the environment.
